I love nautical... everything really. And I had a lot of fun with this outfit. I recently got these tights and they're the most comfortable ones ever! My coworker judged me and said I looked like an artist dressing like this. Meh! I love it.

Not much to say here.  I love these tanks that I got from Walmart though.  They're long, fitted and have lace on the edges - not to mention they're a wonderful material.  I got a plum-colored one, a fucshia, a black and this teal.    Love them. 

Morning Report

Good morning!  I've been so fashionable this week, I'm quite proud of myself.  I actually had on a completely different outfit, but the footless tights were driving me crazy - they end mid calf, and lets just say that wouldn't fly today.  And I couldn't wait to wear this new dress.  I dug out my silver shoes and here we go!

The dress I got last week from Target.  I have so much love for this dress.  The cardigan is a boyfriend cardigan from Ross, and my shoes I got on clearance at Target.  They're a bit too large for my feet though... I'm at that strange shoe size between two sizes - not fun.  And the necklace is a little seahorse necklace that I got on my trip to the Baltimore Aquarium a couple months ago.  Doesn't really match, but meh!  I like seahorses and it was the first necklace I saw. 


So my plans for today is to go home and unpack.  I have barely made a dent.  It's really terrible.

Sunshine on a Rainy Day

It was a rainy day, so no dress today.  I played it safe with some jeans and sneakers.  Note to self - get a new umbrella.  That actually may be my first DIY - I've been thinking of painting my umbrella forever.  It's a terrible lavender color...


On to the outfit -
I got this adorable shirt from Old Navy (the one I have is actually yellow and white stripes).  I wore my awesome boyfriend-cardigan from Ross ($8!).  Pants are from Walmart, and sneakers were a gift from my Grandma (they're getting worn out).  And again... a Forever 21 necklace that I got on clearance.

I swear, Forever 21's online store clearance section for jewelry is THE BEST!  I spent about $50 at Christmas on myself and got tons of jewelry.  Speaking of which, I can't wait to unpack my earrings.

A second outfit post.  Sadly, this one was for a funeral.  Gadget's Uncle passed away last week and it was a very emotional funeral.  Seeing as how most of my clothes are still packed away, it was difficult to find my black dresses.  I had another that I wanted, but I couldn't find it and found this one in the process. 

The dress is an adorable one from Walmart - yes, I shop at Walmart.  I do find some gems every once in a while.  Again, the shoes are the same from yesterday (I took some heels with me, but didn't wear them). I wore plum-colored tights, my ship wheel necklace from Forever 21 (a X-mas Sale $1.50 find), and a great trench that I got for Target for about $20.

So begins the fun!  This is my first outfit post - and I'm quite excited to get this blog up and going.  Sadly, I don't have a battery charger for our camera, so I can't take any pictures of myself wearing this outfit (which is going to be interesting in the future - seeing as how I don't really like getting my picture taken).


For now, you'll have to get some styleboard-esque images of my outfits.  I don't actually have shoes like those (love the bows), but they were the closest I could find.  The ones I have were part of a 10+ pair gift from my sister-in-law.  The dress I saw on Target.com and had to have it, they had various other versions of colors and pattern mixes, but this was my favorite.  I happened to go into Target and found it - in my size!  And the cardigan is from T.J. Max - got a great deal on it!  And seeing as how almost all of my jewelry is still packed away, I grabbed a necklace and threw it on - a cute little bicycle from Forever 21 that I got on clearance for $1.00!!
