Heat Wave, Power Outages & Dog Park

It's been all sorts of hot around here recently. We're breaking some records and everything. Well, there was a crazy storm Friday night and the power went out all over the area. Some people STILL don't have power. We, luckily, only lost power for a few hours - and had some trees down in our complex.

Gadget's nephew spent the weekend with us too, and he was really helpful around the house. He would take the trash out, do the dishes, vaccuum - all without me even saying anything. It was wonderful to be able to relax and not have to worry about it.  He also helped Gadget wash the car - it was too hot for me.  You boys have fun with that!

We tried to take Snow to the dog park Sunday, but it was still super hot and there was NOBODY there. Tree branches and leaves were all over the place. We ran around with him for a while to get him some exercise and went home. It was just too hot.
